TGCA was first originated by Mr. Hume Parks in 1953. The TGCA bi-annual Gun Show was the first gun show held in Tennessee. With the advent of multiple "out of state" show promoters in the 80's, the TGCA suspended it's shows in 1986. With the friendship of Mr. Hume Parks and Bob Pope, the plan to regenerate the TGCA was started in July of 2007.

Why Should I Join The TGCA?

• All TGCA Members enter Bob Pope's Gun Shows free of charge
• All TGCA Members get extended hours into Bob Pope's Gun Shows
• TGCA helps to unite the gun owners of Tennessee
• TGCA is a non-profit Tennessee corporation. Bob Pope is contracted to be the exclusive promoter of all TGCA gun shows
• $5 of each member's yearly dues is donated to area youth shooting sports clubs and organizations. Donation ceremonies will take place at each year's October gun show
